A day at the museums of Paris

During your stay at the Hotel Apolonia Paris Montmartre we advise the following museums next to the hotel, and of course, The Louvre which is just 20 minutes by Metro.

Halle Saint-Pierre

Set in a Baltard pavilion, dominated by the Sacré Coeur, the Halle Saint-Pierre is a museum dedicated to two contemporary art movements: Art Brut and Singular Art. To get there from your hotel in the 18th district of Paris take the metro (line 12) and stop at the station Abbesses and then head to the Place Saint-Pierre.

The Montmartre Museum

The former place of residence for artists, the museum occupies one of the oldest buildings in the Montmartre district. Surrounded by a lush garden, the Museum Montmartre celebrates the inhabitants of "La Butte" and their artwork: examples of such inhabitants are Auguste Renoir, Maurice Utrillo, Suzanne Valadon... The Museum is 500 meters from your hotel, 12 Rue Cortot.

The Louvre museum

The best known and most prestigious museum in France will surprise you with its diverse and inspiring collections. The museum is a 20-minute metro ride away from your hotel. Take line 12 and stop at Concorde. You can continue on foot through the Tuileries Garden.
